Eric introduces Ev: When I met
Ev I knew I had found my life partner. She is smart, creative and warm. Ev is
an amazing mom. I love that she can switch so easily from being thoughtful to
playful, because parenting demands a ton of both. She has a knack for
understanding what those around her are feeling and is very nurturing. Ev
works two days a week as a psychologist. It means so much to her to help
others move from a troubled place into their own strength and confidence. Ev is very artistic and spends many afternoons with Sasha making
silly collages or drawing animals. She loves showing kids the thrill of
creating their own art. Our home is filled with her beautiful paintings, some
of which you can see on our website. Ev is always working on a creative project and is currently
writing a children’s novel. Ev is also good at making healthy delicious
meals, and desserts to die for! |

Ev
introduces Eric: Eric is the biggest sweetheart I’ve ever known. We’ve been
together six happy years. There’s so much I love about Eric. He’s very
supportive of me, makes me laugh and challenges my mind. He sees the beauty
and joy in life and is endlessly curious about the world. Eric is also a terrific dad. He adores Sasha, and constantly
makes up games with her. He is eager to teach her about everything and with
his help, she’s already fixing her own toys! (Well, sort of…) Eric has a big friendly smile and likes to talk with everyone.
Kids flock to Eric—he likes to see things from their viewpoint and explore it
with them. Eric likes to take quirky photos, is passionate about playing
piano and is an avid skier. He hopes to share some, or all, of his loves with
our children. Eric’s an engineer who designs internet equipment. He used to design spacecraft at NASA so he loves to talk to kids about planets and space. |

Sasha is an adorable, happy, spunky 2 year-old who cracks us up on
a daily basis. She likes trampolines, trains, singing, playing chase, and putting boxes on her head… We’ve been touched to watch her offer toys to other toddlers or bring them something to eat. She’ll be a wonderful big sister! |
